Leslie Cornell Building Restoration Ltd were engaged to undertake external sympathetic works to this beautiful Historic Farmhouse.
Although not a Listed Building, this Historic Farmhouse in South West Devon is protected by a National Trust Restrictive Covenant. The covenant was put in place to promote the long-term care of this historic interest in a place of natural beauty.
The works we undertook started with providing Lime pointing sample panels for the approval of the right aggregate, colour and finish by the National Trust Covenants Officer.
Following the gained approval, our works saw us remove the existing claddings/applications and introduce a Natural Lime mortar pointing application to the exposed stonework and a Natural Lime Render to the high-level blockwork.
Please Contact Us if you have a Lime Pointing and Lime Rendering in Cornwall project you would like to discuss.
