Once again we acted as agents, on behalf of our clients, to gain Listed Building Consent in Cornwall. On approval we set about removing the Cementitious pointing and render applications using hand tools to ensure minimal disruption to the fabric of the building.

Over many decades the Brick Arches over the door and windows had had non breathable paints applied. Carefully and sympathetically we removed this and repaired any damaged areas using a specially manufactured brick mortar.

Lime Mortar Re-pointing in Truro commenced using a blend of Natural Hydraulic Lime and Blended Sands. Low level areas could not be repointed so a Lime Render was introduced to ensure full breathability.
