Lime Plastering East Cornwall

On recommendation by a previous client we were engaged to Lime Plaster in East Cornwall.
The outbuilding had a 3 coat Lime Plaster application and using natural horse hair, blended sands and a natural hydraulic lime.
Additionally, a concrete block buttress had two coats of a cement render.

Lime Pointing Padstow

This non-listed farmhouse suffered from Internal Damp on the front elevation.
To limit this, Lime Pointing was proposed to help manage the moisture content in the historic stone walls in Padstow Cornwall.
With tiny earth and lime mortar joints between each stone the team carefully removed and re-pointed with a blended sand and a natural hydraulic lime mortar.
From the before and after pictures we certainly brightened the property up with the clients satisfied our expertise were implemented sympathetically.

Lime Render Bag Rub Falmouth

This Grade II Listed Cob and Stone built property in Falmouth saw the team remove the cement and some original lime wash having previously gained Listed Building Consent on behalf of our client.
The newly introduced Lime Render in Falmouth consisted of three coats and the low-level Lime bag rub just one coat.
Sympathetic to the project and client agreement, the original dovecots were reinstated. A breathable mineral paint system was then applied after 30 days.
