Leslie Cornell Building Restoration Ltd were engaged to undertake re-pointing works to this wonderful Grade II Listed farmhouse in Helston.
To prevent further deterioration of the friable stonework, we removed the existing cementitious pointing applications and re-pointed using an appropriate Natural Lime/sand mortar. By using a Lime-based mortar, not only does this allow moisture in the walls to escape, it also provides the property with a natural aesthetic, highlighting the wonderful stone used in its construction.
Our Clients were very pleased with the work we carried out and to read what they thought, please have a look at their Testimonial.
