Lime Applications and Breathability Works Goonhavern
Leslie Cornell Building Restoration Ltd were engaged to undertake Historic Building Restoration Works in Cornwall at this lovely cottage in Goonhavern.
Our works commenced with the removal of existing paints and cement and Lime-based mortar applications.
We then continued our works by introducing appropriate Lime Pointing and Lime Render applications.
After allowing adequate drying times for the Lime mortar, we then introduced a Mineral Paint System to the new Lime render applications.
We also undertook several other necessary breathability/maintenance works, and they included:
Drainage
Installation of appropriate drainage to the external of the property.
Lintels
Removal of existing failed lintels and the introduction of new ones.
Guttering and Facias
Refurbishment of existing facias and installation of new guttering.
