Lime Pointing Camborne
This historic stone cottage in Cornwall had developed damp problems. Our client engaged us to preserve the walls’ breathability.
We carefully removed the existing non-breathable cement-based render applications to expose the stonework, then raked out the joints to the required depth and cleaned the stone faces.
Once preparation was complete, we introduced an appropriate breathable Lime Pointing application to the exposed joints.
We also replaced the existing roofing-slate window sills with new solid slate sills and made good the surrounding areas.
