This Grade II Listed Cob Wall in Cornwall was completely rebuilt from scratch. Architectural Drawings were submitted by Leslie Cornell Building Restoration Cob Specialists to Cornwall Council where we were successfully granted Listed Building Consent.
The Stonework plinth was re-introduced with the original stone from site using a Lime and sand mortar.
The Cob was mixed on site as the soil contained suitable clay content. Now finished the wall stands 15ft at its highest point, with a slate capping and the stonework Lime pointed. No cement was used in the building of this Cob Wall.
Our clients were extremely pleased with the finished project and as a company this demonstrates the passion we have for getting muddy.
