We purchased a Grade 2 Listed Cottage which had damp problems due to the stone walls being covered in non-breathable paint internally. Having removed some of the paint we found the problem was worse than expected, the walls were also covered in cement tanking. At this point I got Leslie and his team involved. As expected, full removal of paint, tanking and cement mortar was recommended, followed by re-plastering with Lime. We could not be happier with the results. Leslie’s team always turned up on time and within 3 visits they had totally transformed the interior, and despite being messy work, they always cleaned up before leaving the site. I will be going back to Leslie next year for some external work.
