Lime Pointing and Structural Repairs Charlestown
Leslie Cornell Building Restoration Ltd were engaged in the restoration project at this Grade II* Listed former Methodist Chapel in the Historic Port of Charlestown in Cornwall.
Our restoration works commenced with removing the existing cement-based pointing applications, followed by the introduction of a Natural Lime/sand mortar pointing application to the external stonework.
The next stage of the restoration project was to undertake some Structural Repairs to stabilise some of the walls.
The final stage of these works was to create 4 new window openings, including the introduction of new lintels and new slate sills.
