Our, Leslie Cornell Building Restoration Ltd, next project for 2019 is to undertake Historic Building Restoration and Renovation Works at this Grade II Listed former Mill in Cornwall, to enable its’ conversion into a residential dwelling.
This Listed Building in Cornwall dates back to the early 1600’s when is was used as a Manorial Corn Mill. During the years that followed, it’s use as a Mill continued and its size was increased. From the late 19th Century it was adapted so it could be used for the production of animal feed. This continued until 1966 when the milling ceased, and the Mill was closed down.
Our Historic Building Restoration Works in Cornwall have commenced with the removal of external vegetation and cement pointing applications to the existing stonework.
Some of the other aspects of our works in this project will include:
- Lintel Replacements
- Stone Repairs
- Stone Cleaning
- Structural Repairs
- Lime Pointing
We will bring you more updates as this project progresses.
