We were instructed by our Client to act as Agents on their behalf to prepare all of the required paperwork and submit an application for Listed Building Consent.

Following receipt of the Grant of Listed Building Consent are works commenced.

The first steps of this Listed Building Restoration in Cornwall project were to carefully remove the existing non-breathable cement-based render applications to the high-level Cob and cement-based pointing and paint applications to the low-level stonework on the Front Elevation.

This was followed with the introduction of a 3-coat Lime render application to the Cob and a Lime pointing application to the joints of the low-level stonework.  Following the appropriate drying times, the newly introduced Lime render was then painted using a breathable 4-stage Mineral Paint System
